In collaboration with Futurense Technologies, IIT Gandhinagar has introduced three six-month residential postgraduate diploma programs designed to equip learners with advanced skills in AI, Data Science, and Cloud Engineering.

The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Gandhinagar has announced the launch of three new six-month postgraduate diploma programs in collaboration with Futurense Technologies, aimed at preparing industry-ready professionals in fast-evolving tech domains such as Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, and Cloud Engineering.
The newly introduced programs include a PG Diploma in AI and Agentic AI Engineering, a PG Diploma in GenAI and Data Science Engineering, and a PG Diploma in AI-Powered Software Engineering with Cloud.

Each program is fully residential and designed to provide an immersive, hands-on learning experience on the IIT campus.
IIT Gandhinagar Director Prof Rajat Moona said the initiative underscores the institute’s commitment to producing “future-ready professionals who do not just learn technology but apply and create with it.”
He added that the programs emphasize “real-world engineering depth, hands-on innovation, and an immersive IIT campus experience.”
Following a Build, Deploy, Scale model, each course includes more than 600 hours of bootcamp-style learning, combining classroom sessions with extensive project work.
According to the institute, this structure aims to equip learners with skills equivalent to two years of industry experience.
Each program will admit only 60 students, selected through a national-level entrance examination, the All India National Proficiency Test (AINPT), followed by a multi-stage interview.

The first batch is scheduled to begin in February 2026, with a learning format comprising 70% project-based work and 30% faculty-led instruction.
Established in 2008, IIT Gandhinagar continues to focus on interdisciplinary learning and research-driven innovation.
Through this initiative, the institute aims to strengthen India’s digital talent pool and meet the rising demand for skilled professionals in AI and related technologies.
