Applicants can submit forms through the institute’s international admissions portal until March 30, with selection based on a written test and virtual interview before the academic session begins in July.

The Indian Institute of Technology Delhi has started accepting applications from foreign nationals for admission to its postgraduate programs for the upcoming academic cycle.
Interested candidates can submit their applications through the institute’s international admissions portal, with the registration window remaining open until March 30 at 4:00 pm.

The admission process will include a written examination followed by a virtual interview, and the selected candidates will begin their classes in July.
The institute is offering admissions to several postgraduate programs, including Master of Technology (MTech), Master of Science (Research) [MS(R)], Master of Design (MDes), Master of Business Administration (MBA), Master of Public Policy (MPP), Master of Arts (MA), and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD).
Applicants are required to submit their academic transcripts along with the application. They must also provide a self-declaration confirming their proficiency in English and their ability to study in a demanding English-medium academic environment.
In addition, candidates must include contact details of two academic or professional referees who can provide letters of recommendation.
To apply, candidates need to visit the international admissions portal of IIT Delhi and review the available research areas and eligibility requirements before starting the application process.
Applicants must first create a user profile using a valid email address, which will generate application credentials and a tracking ID.
After logging in, candidates can select their preferred postgraduate or doctoral program across fields such as engineering, sciences, humanities, or management.
The application requires uploading supporting documents, including academic records, a Statement of Purpose, the English proficiency declaration, and a copy of the passport.
Applicants must also provide details of two referees who will submit recommendation letters. The application will be considered complete only after payment of the required fee and submission before the deadline of March 30, 2026, at 4:00 pm IST.
