The two-year program blends live online learning with in-person campus sessions, providing working professionals and entrepreneurs flexible, real-world management training aligned with IIM Lucknow’s academic excellence.

The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Lucknow has introduced a Blended MBA (bMBA) program aimed at professionals and entrepreneurs who want to upgrade their management skills without taking a career break.
The two-year program follows a modular format combining online and in-person learning, allowing participants to manage work and study efficiently.

It is structured into six terms, with core courses in the first year and a choice of electives in the second.
Specializations include strategy, finance, marketing, operations, IT systems, supply chain management, and HR. The program also features a capstone project to apply learning to practical scenarios.
Applications opened on July 11 and will close on Aug 18. Online interviews are scheduled from Sept 1 to 3, and the course will commence on September 25.
Interested candidates can apply through the official website: https://www.iiml.ac.in/programmes/bmba
“In today’s dynamic and fast-paced world, where time is scarce and ambitions are limitless, many accomplished professionals and entrepreneurs without a formal MBA often find themselves constrained in realizing their full potential,” said Prof MP Gupta, Director, IIM Lucknow.
“Recognizing their aspirations, IIM Lucknow is proud to launch its Blended MBA Program... I hereby invite professionals to embark on this transformative journey with us,” Prof Gupta added.
The program is open to candidates aged 24 and above with a minimum of three years of full-time work experience after graduation.
A valid CAT, GMAT, GRE, or GMAT Focus Edition score (within the last five years) is mandatory.
Applicants should have completed at least 15 years of formal education and must have secured a minimum of 50% aggregate marks or equivalent CGPA.
Professionals with qualifications like CA (ICAI), CS (ICSI), or CMA (ICWA/ICAI) are also eligible. Foreign degrees must be recognized by AIU.
The admission process involves shortlisting based on academic record, test scores, and work experience, followed by an online interview.
“I am delighted to announce the launch of our Blended MBA Program, a future-ready offering designed to empower working professionals and entrepreneurs,” said Prof Sanjay Singh, Dean (Program), IIM Lucknow.
“The program blends academic rigor with flexibility... We look forward to welcoming a diverse cohort, including professionals from India and neighboring countries such as Nepal, Bhutan, and Sri Lanka,” Prof Singh added.
The institute promises a high-quality learning experience through live virtual sessions, on-campus interactions, and hands-on learning using case studies, project work, and group discussions.
