The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) introduced 13 new courses across its various schools, including four MBA programs in new domains. The launch took place during the 29th G Ram Reddy Memorial Lecture event held on July 2 in honor of the university's founding vice chancellor, G Ram Reddy.
IGNOU's MBA new courses are:
A minimum of 50% of the marks in a bachelor's degree is required for admission to MBA programs; candidates from reserved categories will be granted a 5% relaxation as per government norms.

Semester 1: Rs. 15,500

Semester 3: Rs. 17,500

IGNOU celebrates July 2 every year in memory of its founding Vice Chancellor, Professor G. Ram Reddy, and invites eminent educationists and scholars to deliver lectures on higher education, especially in the open and distance learning domain.
Recently, the university released an announcement regarding its MBA program in healthcare and hospital management, which is open to graduates with at least 50% (45% for candidates from reserved categories according to Government of India regulations) in their degree.
The MBA in Construction Management program is now accepting applications. The IGNOU School of Engineering and Technology offers this two-year program, which is solely provided in English.
