The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has started the admission proceedings for undergraduate, postgraduate, and other programs for the July 2024 academic year.
The university is set to introduce five new postgraduate courses and a bachelor’s degree course from this July session including MSc degree in zoology, physics, analytical chemistry, chemistry and industrial safety.
The university is also introducing a BSc degree in applied science-energy this year. The program will cover topics such as renewable energy, energy efficiency, and sustainable energy management. The deadline for applying for various programs is June 30.
Interested candidates can register on the official websites of IGNOU at ignouiop.samarth.edu.in andignouadmission.samarth.edu.in.
IGNOU offers several certificates, diplomas, advanced diplomas, postgraduate diplomas, and degrees which includes more than 40 programs that are only available online.
It offers over 290 UG, PG, PG diploma, diploma, certificate and awareness programs through online distance learning (ODL) and online (OL) mode. The ODL courses are available for students in certificate, diploma, and degree formats at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
The University also exempts undergraduate students for all streams from scheduled tribe and scheduled caste from paying the admission fees.
