The program will target participants across the Middle East, Southeast Asia, Africa and Europe. Its blended format will combine online instruction, campus-based learning and international workshops, allowing professionals to pursue management education alongside their existing responsibilities.

The course will include approximately 650 learning hours spread across four semesters. It will be delivered through IIM Kozhikode’s Urban Learning Centre in Kochi, Kerala, with teaching contributions from institute faculty, industry practitioners and subject-matter experts.

The partnership aims to align management education with evolving industry requirements as businesses adopt emerging technologies and transform their operations.

The curriculum will include case studies, practical projects and immersive learning experiences designed to help participants apply management concepts to real-world business challenges.

Participants who complete the programme will receive an MBA degree from IIM Kozhikode and join the institute’s alumni network, according to an official statement.

Program structure and learning format

The Global MBA will run for two years across four semesters, with around 650 hours of learning. Its delivery model will combine online classes with campus-based sessions and international workshops across the Middle East, Southeast Asia, Africa and Europe.

The programme is designed for working professionals who want to strengthen their management capabilities without stepping away from their careers. Its key focus areas include management, leadership, business transformation and emerging technologies.

Participants will work on case studies and projects that connect academic frameworks with practical business situations. Industry leaders and practitioners will also contribute to the learning process, offering insights into business practices across different sectors and markets.

The blended structure is intended to provide flexibility while incorporating campus-based engagement and international exposure. However, the institute has not yet announced the exact schedule for campus sessions or international workshops.

IIM Kozhikode’s announcement also does not specify the program's tuition fee, admission eligibility criteria, application deadline or selection process. Prospective applicants will need these details to evaluate the program's cost, requirements and suitability before applying.

IIM Kozhikode and Accenture plan wider strategic collaboration

The Global MBA is the first initiative under a multi-year strategic collaboration between IIM Kozhikode and Accenture LearnVantage, according to the institute.

The broader partnership will cover four areas: global learning programs, talent and leadership development, industry-integrated learning, and research, innovation and entrepreneurship.

Through global learning programs, the two organizations plan to combine academic instruction with international perspectives and practical industry applications.

The collaboration will also focus on developing talent and leadership capabilities suited to changing business requirements.

The industry-integrated learning component will involve live projects, engagement with practitioners and connections with innovation ecosystems.

These activities are intended to help participants understand how management concepts can be applied to business challenges.

The partnership will also support research, innovation and entrepreneurship focused on emerging business and societal challenges.

This work is expected to extend the collaboration beyond the Global MBA and connect management education with industry experience and research.

For prospective applicants, the program's announced features include its two-year duration, approximately 650 learning hours, blended teaching format and international workshops.

Further information on fees, admissions, the semester-wise curriculum and the schedule for in-person learning will be important for those considering enrollment.
