The Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) exam is scheduled for July 7.
The online applications for CTET-July 2024 that started on March 7 is set to end on April 2.
The Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) exam is scheduled for July 7.
• The minimum qualifications for appearing in the CTET are notified by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and are as follows:
Passed Class 12 or Senior Secondary with minimum 50% marks along with clearing or appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.Ed)
• Passed Class 12 with minimum 45% marks along with passing or appearing in the final year of a 2-year D.Ed as per the rules mentioned in NCTE Regulations of 2022.
• Passed Class 12 with minimum 50% marks along with clearing or appearing in the final year of a 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed)
• Passed Class 12 with minimum 45% marks along with passing or appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Special Education
• Graduation in any stream with minimum 50% marks and a B.Ed
• Post Graduation with minimum 55% marks and 3-year integrated B.Ed-M.Ed
Candidates are first required to check their eligibility criteria before applying. The candidates can visit the official website of CTET to fill the application forms. The deadline for submission of fees is also April 2, 2024.
Candidates appearing from general category are required to pay an examination fee of ₹ 1,000 for one paper while those appearing in both paper will have to pay ₹ 1,200
The test will be conducted in twenty languages in 136 cities across the country.
