To assist students in preparing effectively, the CBSE has strategically designed the date sheet, ensuring sufficient gaps between exams for subjects with higher enrollment. This thoughtful scheduling aims to alleviate exam pressure and promote better performance. Additionally, the board has accounted for over 40,000 subject combinations, ensuring that no two exams for any student overlap on the same day.

Practical exams for Class 10 began earlier on November 5, 2024, and are set to conclude by December 5, 2024. Along with the timetable, CBSE has provided detailed guidelines for the exam days. These include mandatory reporting times, items allowed at the examination center, and COVID-19 safety measures (if required). Students and schools are advised to carefully follow these instructions to ensure a smooth examination process.

In the previous academic session, 2,251,812 students registered for the Class 10 board exams, with 2,238,827 appearing for the tests. The pass percentage stood at an impressive 93.60%, reflecting consistent academic achievement among students. This year, CBSE expects a similar level of participation, with over 2 million students preparing for the 2025 exams.
