August 7, 2023: The application process has commenced for four prestigious management entrance exams, namely CAT, XAT, GMAT, and NMAT, which open doors to some of the most esteemed business schools across the country. This year, the esteemed Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Lucknow is responsible for conducting the Common Admission Test (CAT), adding to the significance of the examination season.
CAT (Common Admission Test):

– Conducting Authority: IIM Lucknow
– Application Start Date: August 2, 2023
– Application End Date: September 13, 2023
– Exam Date: November 26, 2023

XAT (Xavier Aptitude Test):
– Conducting Authority: Xavier School of Management (XLRI)
– Application Start Date: July 15, 2023

– XAT Eligibility: Candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university or deemed university. There are no specific percentage criteria for eligibility.

GMAT (Graduate Management Admission Test):
– Conducting Authority: Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC)
– Application Process: Ongoing throughout the year
– GMAT Eligibility: There are no specific eligibility criteria for GMAT. However, candidates must check the requirements of the individual business schools they wish to apply to.
NMAT (NMIMS Management Aptitude Test):
– Conducting Authority: Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS)
– Application Start Date: August 1, 2023
– Application End Date: October 10, 2023
– NMAT Exam Window: August 1 to December 16, 2023
– NMAT Eligibility: Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university with a minimum of 50% marks.
