Youth aged 18 to 30 can apply through the EBSB portal for five to seven day interstate exposure visits designed to promote cultural understanding, academic engagement, and national integration.

The Ministry of Education has opened online registrations for Phase VI of Yuva Sangam, a youth exchange initiative conducted under the “Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat program.” Eligible candidates can submit their applications through the official EBSB portal.
Yuva Sangam, launched by the Department of Higher Education, is designed to promote the idea of unity in diversity by connecting young people from different states and Union Territories through structured exposure visits.

The program enables participants to gain firsthand experience of India’s cultural, social, and developmental diversity.
Young individuals between 18 and 30 years of age are eligible to apply. This includes students enrolled in Higher Education Institutions, volunteers associated with the National Service Scheme, members of the Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan, and young professionals from various sectors.
Participants selected for the program will travel to their paired state or Union Territory and take part in educational and cultural tours lasting five to seven days, excluding travel time.
During the visit, they will engage with local communities, explore regional traditions, languages, cuisine, and lifestyles, and observe development practices. The itinerary also includes visits to educational institutions and significant local landmarks.
The initiative has witnessed strong participation in previous phases. During Phase V, more than 46,000 registrations were recorded from across the country.
Since the program’s launch, including the pilot phase in 2022, over 6,000 participants and coordinators have taken part. Tours have been organized by leading higher education institutions nationwide.
For Phase VI, 22 institutions have been designated as nodal centers to coordinate activities.
The program aligns with the vision of the National Education Policy 2020 and follows a whole-of-government approach, bringing together multiple ministries, departments, state governments, and institutions to deliver comprehensive learning experiences for young participants.
