KIET Deemed to be University Hosts Alumni Sports Meet 2026, Strengthening Bonds Through Cricket, Football, Networking, and Nostalgic Campus Reunions

The Alumni Engagement Cell of KIET Deemed to be University successfully organized “Alumni Sports Meet 2026” at the university campus, bringing together alumni from various batches for a day filled with sports, interaction, and nostalgia.
The event was organized with the objective of strengthening the bond between alumni and the university while promoting sportsmanship and networking. Alumni enthusiastically participated in sports competitions including cricket and football, creating a lively and energetic atmosphere throughout the day.

During the event, alumni were felicitated byDr. Manoj Goel - Executive Director; Dr. Adesh Kumar Pandey - Director Academics; Dr. Abhinav Juneja - Director CRPC and Dr. Kamal Kant Sharma - Head Alumni Engagement Cell. They appreciated the enthusiastic participation of alumni and emphasized the importance of maintaining a strong connection between alumni and the university.
The successful organization of the event was also supported by the team of Dean Student Welfare (DSW), whose efforts contributed significantly to the smooth conduct of the sports meet. Special appreciation was extended to Dr. Bhoopendra Kumar (Chief Proctor) for his tremendous and engaging commentary throughout the event. The dedicated efforts of the AEC Executive – Ms. Anchal & Sports In-charge, Ms. Mona and Mr. Chandan, were also acknowledged for their active support and coordination in managing the sports activities.
The event provided a wonderful opportunity for alumni to reconnect with their friends and faculty members while revisiting their cherished campus memories. Faculty members and organizers actively coordinated the activities and encouraged participants during the matches.
The sports meet concluded with prize distribution and group photographs, marking the successful completion of the event and leaving alumni with memorable moments of their visit to the university.
