Countdown Begins: National Testing Agency to Open Applications for UGC NET June 2024, Marking the Start of Preparations for the Prestigious Examination

UGC NET June 2024: NTA to Commence Applications Soon
The National Testing Agency (NTA) is gearing up to kickstart the application process for the University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) June 2024. Interested candidates are invited to apply through the official UGC NET website at ugcnet.nta.ac.in.
According to the official announcement, the last date for submission of online applications for UGC NET June 2024 is yet to be revealed.

UGC NET June 2024 Registration: How to Apply
Candidates will have the opportunity to make corrections to their application details after the registration window closes. Additionally, details regarding the exam center cities will be announced following the completion of the registration process.
The UGC NET June 2024 exam will be conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode across multiple shifts. Both papers of the test will consist of objective type, multiple-choice questions, with a total duration of three hours for both papers, comprising 150 questions.
In the previous December 2023 session, a significant number of candidates, totaling 9,45,918, registered for the exam, with 6,95,928 candidates appearing from 292 cities nationwide. The exam, conducted between December 6 and December 14, witnessed an extensive participation, and the results were declared on January 17.
In a recent development, UGC Chief M. Jagadesh Kumar announced that starting from the 2024-25 academic session, UGC NET scores will be eligible for PhD admissions. The results will be declared in percentile, along with the marks obtained by candidates, facilitating the utilization of these marks for admission to PhD programs.
