What does the PoC represent?

  • This is a trial assessment utilizing Aadhaar-linked facial recognition to confirm candidates in real-time for NEET-UG 2025.
  • Created By: Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI), in partnership with: National Informatics Centre (NIC) and National Testing Agency (NTA).

Main Characteristics:

  • Real-time, contactless biometric verification of candidates at designated NEET centres in Delhi.
  • Incorporated with NIC’s digital systems and NTA guidelines.
  • Achieved high precision in facial recognition using the Aadhaar biometric database.
  • Decreased likelihood of impersonation and simplified access procedures.
