India and the USA announced the Underwater Domain Awareness (UDA) initiative of the Autonomous Systems Industry Alliance (ASIA)

Declared during the Indian Prime Minister's recent trip to the United States, the Autonomous Systems Industry Alliance (ASIA) seeks to expand industry collaborations and manufacturing in the Indo-Pacific region.

The United States has made the first offer to collaborate on UDA technologies with India.

This idea relates to the maritime industry and entails monitoring everything beneath the surface of the ocean using tactics, policies, and technology.
