What does it mean?

A strategic policy framework to revamp India’s aluminium sector for self-sufficiency, clean energy shift, and international competitiveness.

Released by: Government of India, Ministry of Coal and Mines.

Objective: To sustainably increase aluminium production and position India as a top global contender in green aluminium.

Significant Production Growth: Aims for a six times boost in aluminium production capacity by 2047 to satisfy upcoming strategic and economic needs.
