The International Day of Women and Girls in Science was celebrated for the 10th time in February, and UNESCO launched the “Imagine a World with More Women in Science” campaign.

It is awareness campaign globally highlighting women’s role in scientific innovation and the importance of gender balance in science and engineering. It also enhances the role of women in promoting inclusive global policies in science and technology.
It is launched by UNESCO with the collaboration of the International Development Centre (IDRC) of Canada.
