Candidates can view their results on the official website.

They can check their eligibility for the test by verifying their roll numbers from the list provided.

A total of 1,963 individuals qualified for the Junior Research Fellowship under the CSIR JRF category.

These candidates are also eligible for assistant professor positions, according to the minimum eligibility standards established by the UGC.

Around 11 individuals qualified for the Junior Research Fellowship (JRF). These applicants are not eligible for the role of assistant professor.

Under the UGC JRF system, 1,875 individuals were awarded Junior Research Fellowships. These candidates are also qualified for the role of assistant professor.

Under Category 2, about 3,172 candidates are qualified for the role of assistant professor and PhD admission. Only 10,969 individuals are eligible for admission to the PhD program under Category 3.

The result notification additionally indicates that for PhD admission, the NET marks achieved by candidates in categories 2 and 3 would be valid for one year from the date of the Joint CSIR-UGC NET June 2024 result declaration.

The NET score will be declared as a percentile, along with the marks received by a candidate, to be used for PhD admission.

For candidates qualified under categories 2 and 3 for admission to the PhD, the marks acquired in the NET will be weighted at 70%.

The performance in the interview or viva performed by the relevant university/HEI will account for 30% of the weightage.

PhD admission will be based on a combination of NET and interview or viva scores.

The eligibility requirements and higher age restrictions for Category-1, Category-2, and Category-3 are detailed in the Joint CSIR UGC NET Information Bulletin June 2024.

UGC norms determine eligibility for Assistant Professor and Admission to PhD programs.
