The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is expected to release the Class 10 and 12 board examination timetable for 2027 soon on its official website, cbse.gov.in. The date sheet will help students plan their revision, allocate time between subjects and prepare according to the gaps between examinations.

The board is also expected to publish details of the main examinations for Class 10 and 12, along with the schedule for sports students. The timeline for the Class 10 second board examination and Class 12 supplementary examination is also likely to be announced separately.

Meanwhile, CBSE has already begun the process of finalising candidates for the 2027 board examinations. The board opened the List of Candidates (LOC) submission portal on September 24, directing schools to submit details of eligible Class 10 and 12 students.

Schools can submit the LOC without a late fee until October 21. A late-fee window will remain open from October 22 to 26.

CBSE has made it clear that only students whose names are successfully submitted through the online LOC process will be eligible to appear in the Class 10 and Class 12 board examinations.

The upcoming date sheet will be particularly important for students as it will determine the sequence of subjects and the preparation time available between papers. Once the schedule is released, students can use the gaps between examinations to prioritise revision, practise sample papers and focus on subjects requiring additional preparation.

CBSE is expected to publish the official timetable and related examination details on its website once the schedule is finalised.
