The APPSC has announced that its Group 1 Mains exams will be held from May 3 to May 9, 2025, featuring tablet-based descriptive questions.
The Group 1 services mains 2025 examination dates have been released by the Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) at psc.ap.gov.in.
The examination is scheduled to start on May 3 and end on May 9.
The APPSC Group 1 mains exams will take place in a single shift every day from 10 am to 1 pm.

According to the Commission, the APPSC Group 1 Mains will include descriptive-style questions, and the question papers will be available on tablets.
Candidates must pass the Telugu and English exams in order to move on to the next round of the selection process, even though these are merely qualifying exams and will not have an impact on the final merit ranking.
