Scholarship for International Students: Amber, a global student accommodation platform, proudly announces the launch of the third edition of the amberScholar scholarship. This initiative, designed for international students enrolled in programs in the UK, USA, Ireland, or Canada for the September intake, builds on the success of its previous editions.
The amberScholar scholarship provides $15,000 in financial aid, distributed among three winners. The first-place winner will receive $7,000, the second-place winner $5,000, and the third-place winner $3,000. This program supports students from diverse academic and socio-cultural backgrounds, helping them pursue higher education and achieve their educational goals.
Students planning to attend universities in the UK, USA, Ireland, or Canada who have received acceptance letters for any academic program in these countries are eligible to apply. Applicants can submit their "Statement of Purpose" (SOP) through the official amberScholar scholarship website by clicking the "Apply Now" button. The SOP should uniquely express the applicant's need for the scholarship. It can be presented in various formats, including video essays, screen-recorded presentations, or other graphical formats the applicant prefers. The deadline for application submissions is 31st August 2024.
Applicants should note that the SOP for the scholarship should be distinct from any SOP submitted for university admission. It must explicitly outline the applicant's scholarship needs and educational aspirations.
Saurabh Goel, CEO and Co-Founder of amber, expressed his enthusiasm for the program, noting the tremendous success of the past two years, which saw thousands of applications. This strong interest has encouraged amber to continue and expand the initiative by increasing the prize pool. Goel emphasized that their goal is to make high-quality education accessible to talented students globally, providing vital financial support to help them pursue their dreams without the burden of financial constraints.
