Along with the scholarships, the program offers multi-lingual learning materials in seven Indian languages, with advanced computer science modules, empowering students to develop applications while deepening their understanding of AI, coding, and technology through project-based learning.

The Amazon Future Engineer program has trained over 20,000 teachers and 3 million government school students across 272 districts in 8 Indian states, as revealed during the program's 'Careers of the Future' event in Delhi.
The Amazon Future Engineer Program organized the 'Careers of the Future' Summit 2025 in Delhi, bringing together business and public policy professionals to explore key aspects of computer science education.

Targeting students in grades 6 and above from tier 2 cities, the program aims to bridge the gender gap in the technology sector.
Amazon is offering 500 merit-based scholarships, each worth ₹2 lakh over four years, to female students pursuing undergraduate degrees in computer science engineering or related fields.
Through the program, students can access multilingual learning resources in seven Indian languages—Hindi, English, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Oriya, and Marathi.
The program fosters a deeper understanding of fundamental AI concepts, coding principles, and the transformative power of technology through immersive project-based learning, enhanced with advanced computer science modules.
Students can also create sophisticated applications.
In addition to financial aid, the program provides intensive, individualized coding boot camps, guidance from Amazon staff, and access to personal laptops to support learning and professional growth.
The Summit focused on how computer science can prepare children for future careers, how to scale high-quality computer science education nationwide, and the importance of collaboration between businesses, government, and educational institutions to close the gap between education and employment.

“At Amazon, we are committed to bridging India’s digital divide through education. Our Amazon Future Engineer program is offering 500 merit-based scholarships worth ₹2 lakh each to female computer science students,” said Samir Kumar, Country Manager, Amazon India.
“We have already trained 3 million government school students and 20,000 teachers across 8 states,” he added.
He continued, “By empowering India’s youth with future-ready skills, we are nurturing the next generation of tech innovators. This investment in diverse, inclusive education is key to unlocking India’s potential and driving sustainable growth.”
