IIM Bangalore has completed its placements for the PGP-BA and PGP 2024 batches which saw 516 students getting job offers from 163 firms.

A record-breaking 29 students received offers for positions abroad, with 7 offers from Infosys Consulting leading, followed by Strategy and Middle East with 6 offers, and Jindal Shadeed with 5 offers, amongst others.
The majority of placements, totaling 487, were secured within India, with a median annual salary of Rs. 32.5 lakhs.
Professor Ganesh N Prabhu, Chairperson of Career Development Services at IIMB, expressed gratitude to Accenture for its significant contribution, having made a record 58 offers across its three units – Global Networks, India Markets Unit, and Data & AI. Consulting firms emerged as the top recruiters, extending 218 offers, followed by finance, banking, and investments firms with 81 offers, reported India Today.
IT firms and e-commerce companies each provided 49 offers. Meanwhile, manufacturing and infrastructure firms extended 36 offers, conglomerates offered 30 positions, and consumer goods and retail firms presented 28 offers. Moreover, analytics and AI firms provided 13 offers, while healthcare-related companies extended 12 offers.
Notable consulting recruiters included Accenture Global Networks, McKinsey & Company, and Boston Consulting Group Consulting who offered 218 offers from 30 firms.Firms from Finance, Banking, Investments included Goldman Sachs, Credit Saison, and NAVI are among the prominent recruiters.
There were 49 offers from 23 firms in the field of IT Software/Services/Security including Microsoft, Browserstack, and HCL Tech are some of the key recruiters in this sector.
American Express, Amazon, and Airtel, Asian Paints, Jindal Shadeed, Abhinandan Lodha Enterprises, Adani Group, Reliance Industries, and Vedanta were also among the top recruiters.
