Newly released Epstein schedules cite planned contacts with Musk, Thiel, Gates, Prince Andrew — no wrongdoing confirmed

New documents from Jeffrey Epstein’s estate, released by the US House Oversight Committee in late September, reveal that figures such as Elon Musk, Peter Thiel, Bill Gates, and Prince Andrew appear in schedules, flight manifests, and financial ledgers spanning 2014 to 2019 as individuals Epstein planned to meet or had planned meetings with.

According to the calendars, some entries include a note for Elon Musk to travel to an island in December 2014; other entries schedule a lunch with Thiel in 2017, a breakfast with Steve Bannon in 2019, and refer to Bill Gates and Prince Andrew in various flight logs and payment ledgers.

These documents follow Epstein’s 2008 conviction and fall between that conviction and his 2019 indictment. The Oversight Committee stated that while these entries show potential connections, there is no evidence in the released files that any of the individuals named participated in illegal activity, or engaged in wrongdoing related to Epstein’s known crimes (trafficking minors).

Elon Musk has publicly denied some of the schedule entries. According to Reuters, Musk declared one calendar entry involving him and Epstein to be false. Thiel, Prince Andrew, and Gates have not released detailed public responses to every item.

The release has drawn political scrutiny. Democrats argue that the documents are crucial for establishing the full scope of Epstein’s network.

Republicans, on the other hand, have criticized the timing of the release, suggesting it may be politically motivated or selectively disclosed.
