Debris from intercepted missiles and drones struck a building in central Dubai as the Iran-US-Israel conflict spread across Gulf countries, triggering flight disruptions, security alerts and regional air defence operations.

Explosions and aerial interceptions were reported over Dubai as the conflict involving Iran, the United States, and Israel continued to spill across the Gulf region, raising security concerns in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and disrupting civilian activity.
Authorities in Dubai said debris from an intercepted aerial threat struck the façade of a building in the city’s central area, including parts of the financial district. Officials confirmed that the situation had been contained and that no injuries were reported.

The incident followed a series of missile and drone attacks launched across the Gulf as Iran retaliates against US and Israeli strikes on its territory. Air defence systems in the UAE have been actively intercepting incoming threats, including ballistic missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles.
Residents across parts of Dubai and Abu Dhabi reported hearing loud explosions as interception systems engaged aerial threats. Authorities also urged the public to stay away from any fallen debris and to report unidentified objects to emergency services to avoid potential risks.
The regional conflict has also begun to affect travel and aviation. Several airlines have suspended or altered routes to the Gulf amid rising security concerns, while some international carriers temporarily halted flights to Dubai.
Officials in the UAE have taken additional measures to maintain order and prevent panic. Authorities in Abu Dhabi detained dozens of individuals accused of spreading misinformation or sharing videos related to air defence operations on social media.
The developments come as the Iran-US-Israel war enters its second week, with attacks expanding across the region and affecting multiple Gulf states. Countries including Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Kuwait have reported drone or missile interceptions as tensions continue to rise.
The escalation has also raised concerns about the safety of key infrastructure and international travel routes in the region.
