"The Prime Minister is genuinely fearful. He is apprehensive of a defeat as he stands exposed to the nation. To mask his fear, he is boasting of securing 370 plus seats for the BJP", stated the former Chief Minister of Bihar.

Patna: Lalu Prasad, the president of RJD, on Monday criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his "inability" to control BJP leaders who proposed introducing "a new Constitution" if the party secured a two-thirds majority in the Lok Sabha elections.
In a forceful statement, the ailing septuagenarian asserted that the Constitution, crafted by Dalit icon Baba Saheb Ambedkar, is cherished by the poor and marginalized classes, and anyone who dares to undermine it "will face severe consequences".

"The Prime Minister is genuinely fearful. He is apprehensive of a defeat as he stands exposed to the nation. To mask his fear, he is boasting of securing 370 plus seats for the BJP", stated the former Chief Minister of Bihar.
Prasad, who has served multiple terms as an MP and was a member of the Union Cabinet under Manmohan Singh, expressed distress that numerous BJP leaders have been advocating for changes to the Constitution, yet no "action (karvayi)" has been taken against them, and some are even being fielded by the party.
Prasad's outbursts, who is currently out on bail after being convicted in several fodder scam cases, follow a comment made by Lallu Singh, the incumbent MP from Ayodhya, who later retracted his statement, claiming it was a slip of the tongue. Earlier, similar remarks had been made by Jyoti Mirdha, a BJP candidate in Rajasthan, and the party's Karnataka MP, Anant Hegde.
Prasad stated, "The Constitution, bequeathed to the poor, the marginalized classes, by Babasaheb Ambedkar, will not tolerate any attempts at tampering. Anyone who dares to undermine the Constitution will face severe consequences (janta aankh nikaal legi)".
The RJD supremo also took a swipe at his long-time adversary Nitish Kumar, the Chief Minister of Bihar and JD(U) president, who was recently mocked on social media for a gaffe he made at a rally of the prime minister.
"Nitish Kumar blurted out that NDA will win 4,000 votes. A few days later he repeated the mistake, only to correct himself saying that he was sorry for the slip-up", Prasad said, referring to another rally that the JD(U) leader addressed in Nawada.
