India has strongly condemned the attack on the United Arab Emirates’ Fujairah that left three Indian nationals injured, terming the incident “unacceptable” and urging an immediate cessation of hostilities.
In an official statement, the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) said the targeting of civilian infrastructure and innocent people must stop, reflecting India’s concern over the safety of its citizens abroad and the worsening situation in the region.

The incident occurred after a strike hit the Fujairah Petroleum Industries Zone, a key energy hub, triggering a fire and injuring three Indians who were later taken to hospital for treatment.
The Indian embassy in the UAE said it is in touch with local authorities to ensure proper medical care and welfare of the injured nationals.
The attack comes amid heightened tensions in West Asia, with reports linking the strike to ongoing hostilities involving Iran. The UAE has described the incident as a serious escalation and held Iran responsible, while emphasising its right to respond to threats against its security and infrastructure.
India, while condemning the attack, reiterated its broader position calling for dialogue and diplomacy to restore stability in the region. Officials stressed the need to avoid further escalation, particularly in areas critical to global energy supply and maritime security.
The development adds to growing concerns over the safety of Indian nationals working in conflict-affected regions, as tensions continue to spill over into key economic and strategic zones.
