The Andhra Pradesh Police of Nandyal village has reported a case of gang rape of an eight-year-old schoolgirl, allegedly by three boys aged between 12 to 13, before she was killed.
The three minor accused, who have been detained, have admitted to disposing of the girl's body in an irrigation canal.

The incident has been reported near Muchumarri village in the Kurnool district of Andhra Pradesh. The girl's body is still missing.
The girl, who was a student in Class 3, had been missing since July 7. Her father filed a missing complaint with the local police station. He told authorities that the girl was playing at Muchumarri Park, but she did not return home. Police launched a search and questioned neighbors but were unable to locate her.
Police were directed to the three minor boys by a sniffer dog. Two of them are 12-year-old students in Class 6, and one is 13-year-old and in Class 7. The victim and the accused are from the same school. The authorities said that, during interrogation, the boys confessed to the rape and murder of the girl.
The suspects admitted to the authorities that they had followed the girl after watching her play in the park. They then led her to a distant location near the Muchumarri dam, where they raped her one by one.
The boys admitted that they killed the girl and threw her body in the nearby canal because they were afraid that they would land in trouble if the girl informed her parents about the assault.
Muchumarri police station Sub-Inspector Jayshekhar said that, since the girl's body has not yet been located, the case is still being investigated as a missing case.
