The search for Nida Khan, an accused in the TCS Nashik sexual harassment and alleged forced religious conversion case, has intensified after police failed to trace her despite inputs from her husband.
Khan has been missing for nearly a week, with investigators relying on leads provided by her husband, Moin Naveed Iqbal Khan. During questioning, he told police that she had left their residence on April 14 and was staying with a relative. However, when officers reached the location, they found the house locked, and both Khan’s and the relative’s phones switched off.

Police said the husband later changed his statement, claiming that a relative had taken Khan to Nashik earlier in the week. He also told investigators that he is currently unaware of her whereabouts.
Nida Khan, who worked at the Nashik unit of Tata Consultancy Services, had been transferred to Mumbai two months ago. She was suspended by the company on April 9 after her name surfaced in the case.
The case involves allegations of sexual harassment, coercion, and attempts at religious conversion within the workplace. The initial complaint was filed by a woman employee who accused a colleague of establishing a relationship with her under the false promise of marriage.
Police investigations later linked Khan to the case, alleging that she made derogatory remarks about the complainant’s faith and pressured her to convert.
As the probe progressed, at least seven more women came forward with similar allegations of harassment and misconduct at the workplace, with incidents reported between 2022 and 2026.
So far, police have arrested seven employees, including six men and a woman HR head, and formed a special investigation team (SIT) to probe the matter. The authorities are now focusing on tracing Khan, who is considered a key accused in the case.
The investigation remains ongoing, with police continuing search operations based on multiple leads.
