Akshay Kumar, a Bollywood superstar, appears to have lost his name and fame at the box office. The last few years have not been good for him, as he has delivered multiple flops in a row, resulting in a combined loss of ₹ 1000 crore.
Akshay, famous as the 'Khiladi of Bollywood,' was once a film industry hit. He produced many blockbuster films and earned a large fan base.

Akshay is well-known for his action-packed performances and martial arts abilities. His films, particularly those with the Khiladi title, were huge successes. He subsequently displayed versatility by making comedies, dramas, and films with social objectives. His constant success established him as one of Bollywood's top stars.
Akshay's life took a significant turn after the pandemic. With the release of the movie Sarfira, he has already produced his 13th flop. Movies like Bell Bottom, Laxmmi, Cuttputtli, Atrangi Re, Bachchan Paanday, Samrat Prithviraj, Ram Setu, Selfiee, Mission Ranigunj, and Bade Miyan Chote Miyan are among the flops.
The combined loss of his recent films has exceeded ₹1000 crores, with film Bade Miyan Chote Miyan losing ₹250 crores and Samrat Prithviraj losing ₹150 crores.
The decline can be attributed to other factors. Perhaps in an attempt to justify his high salary, Akshay appears to be producing films far too quickly and without the necessary passion or effort. Critics have said that he lacks energy in his presentations, which distances him from the audience. Moreover, his overt endorsement of a political party might have turned some fans away.
His most recent failure, Sarfira, took in just ₹2.25 crore on its opening day. These figures are disappointing for a celebrity like Akshay and cast doubt on his standing in the industry right now. Despite his recent setbacks, he is determined to succeed.
He is returning soon with a new film, Khel Khel Mein, which is a remake of the Malayalam version of the Spanish classic "12th Man," starring Mohan Lal. The film will be released on August 15; promotions will soon begin.
