To enhance exam security and public trust, the education board has implemented this step to ensure integrity and transparency during the upcoming Intermediate Public Examination (IPE), scheduled from March 6-25.
The Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education has installed CCTV cameras to provide rigorous supervision at exam centers before the Intermediate Public Examination (IPE).
In addition to enhancing exam security, this innovative project increases public confidence in the state's educational system and serves as a model for other Indian educational boards.
More than 8,000 cameras have been placed throughout government, private, and residential junior institutions, and a command center with 40 employees has been established to keep an eye on them.
During the IPE, which is set for March 6–25, the surveillance system seeks to guarantee security, integrity, and transparency.
Chairman of the Vidya Commission Aakunuri Murali visited the TGBIE headquarters on Feb 14 to examine the command control system with Commission members Prof Vishweshwar Rao and Jyothsna Reddy.
The technique, which allows for simultaneous monitoring to stop malpractice and guarantee adherence to exam norms, was shown by Board Secretary Krishna Aditya.
Additionally, he recognized the contribution of Brihaspathi Technologies, which had previously helped with election monitoring and had put the surveillance system into place.
Chairman Aakunuri Murali praised the board as a landmark in examination changes and commended its proactive approach and dedication to educational integrity.
