The Bengaluru-based university unveiled new interdisciplinary courses, Centers of Excellence, scholarships, and industry-linked programs focused on emerging sectors including semiconductors, aerospace, clean energy, and automation.

REVA University has introduced a range of new academic and industry-oriented initiatives aimed at strengthening student training in future technologies and high-growth industries.
The university announced new interdisciplinary programs, collaborations with industry partners, Centers of Excellence, and scholarship opportunities centered on sectors such as Artificial Intelligence, semiconductors, aerospace, electric mobility, automation, advanced manufacturing, digital infrastructure, and clean energy.

Speaking during the announcement, REVA University Chancellor Dr P Shyama Raju said India is entering a period of rapid industrial and technological expansion that will require a highly skilled workforce.
“India today is standing at the threshold of a major technological and industrial transformation. While industries such as semiconductors, aerospace, electric mobility, automation, clean energy, and advanced manufacturing are expanding rapidly, there continues to be a significant talent deficit in these sectors. At REVA University, we see this not as a challenge but as an opportunity to prepare the next generation of future-ready professionals," he said.
Registrar Dr M Dhanamjaya highlighted the university’s academic infrastructure and residential facilities, stating that the institution offers students a secure and comfortable campus environment.
He described the hostel ecosystem as a safe and “home away from home” space for students pursuing higher education in Bengaluru.
Dr Shubha A, Dean of REVA Business School and Faculty of Commerce and Management Studies, said the university has designed its curriculum with industry participation and multidisciplinary learning in mind.
According to the university, academic programs are offered across 21 schools with curriculum frameworks developed using both academic and corporate inputs to improve industry relevance and employability.
Director Admissions Gaurav Yadav said REVA University is shifting from a multidisciplinary approach toward a transdisciplinary learning model by embedding AI, innovation, and research across disciplines.
The university stated that Artificial Intelligence is being integrated into programs related to engineering, management, healthcare, commerce, media, and applied sciences.
“The future is not ‘Core versus AI' but ‘Core with AI,’” the university said while outlining its academic strategy.
Among the initiatives announced were DivyaSree-supported Centers of Excellence focused on sustainable infrastructure, urban innovation, smart technologies, advanced manufacturing, and 3D printing.
The university also introduced specialized programs in Mechatronics Engineering and Aerospace Engineering that include exposure to robotics, UAVs, avionics, intelligent mobility systems, automation, and aerospace technologies.
In the commerce stream, REVA showcased its industry-linked BCom in Corporate Finance and Analytics integrated with US-CMA certification, aimed at strengthening expertise in finance, analytics, and strategic decision-making.
The university said scholarship opportunities are available under categories including merit, sports, NCC, defense, differently abled, sibling, referral, and staff benefits.
REVA University also announced that student cricketer Macneil Hadley Noronha has been selected for the Chennai Super Kings squad.
