The president emphasizes that education empowers tribal communities, urging youth to raise awareness about government welfare schemes and contribute to inclusive growth and social development in their villages.

President Droupadi Murmu on Dec 30 highlighted the transformative power of education for tribal communities and urged educated individuals to help ensure people access the benefits of government welfare programs.
Addressing the Antarrajyiy Jansanskritik Samagam Samaroh–Kartik Jatra in Gumla district, Jharkhand, which brought together tribal participants from Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, and Odisha, she said, "Education is the key to development. Education refines the personality, creates opportunities for development, and becomes a medium for inclusive growth and social justice."

The President noted that many educated individuals often move to towns and do not return to their native villages.
"We should visit our villages and make people aware of various government schemes and their benefits. The government will do its work, but we should also contribute our part after getting education. Government schemes will be successful only when people are aware of them," she said.
"This government believes in the inclusive growth of the tribal community and has been working to take development to the last person of society,” She said.
“The government has started several schemes in the name of Birsa Munda, not only to benefit tribal people, but also to those who are still deprived of basic facilities. The government is working on a mission mode so that they get all amenities such as housing, drinking water, road, schools and others,” She added.
Murmu said she would make efforts to support it, while expressing hope that the state.
Governor Santosh Kumar Gangwar, Chhattisgarh Governor Ramen Deka, and Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai attended the event alongside President Murmu.
