Candidates appearing for the June 21 re-test can modify their present address and select preferred exam cities online through the official portal until May 21, 2026.

The National Testing Agency has enabled the correction facility for candidates set to appear in the NEET UG 2026 re-examination, giving applicants an opportunity to revise their current address and modify exam city preferences ahead of the test.
Students can make the permitted changes through the official portal, neet.nta.nic.in, between May 15 and May 21, 2026, until 11:50 PM.

Under the latest update, candidates are allowed to choose two preferred cities for the examination. Applicants who decide not to edit their forms will continue with the exam city options submitted earlier.
The NTA said that the correction window is restricted only to updating the present residential address and examination city selections.
No other information in the application form can be altered during this period, and requests submitted after the deadline will not be entertained.
The agency has also confirmed that students will not be required to pay any additional charges either for making these corrections or for appearing in the re-examination.
Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan had previously announced that the re-test process would be conducted free of cost for affected candidates.
The NTA said the exam city intimation slips and admit cards for the re-examination will be released later on the official website. These are expected to be issued by June 14, 2026.
The NEET UG 2026 re-exam is scheduled for June 21, 2026. It will be held from 2 PM to 5:15 PM in offline mode using pen-and-paper format. The examination will be conducted in 13 languages across designated centers.
Candidates requiring assistance can reach the NTA through helpline numbers 011-40759000 and 011-69227700 or email their queries to [email protected]. Further announcements will be published on neet.nta.nic.in.
