The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test-Postgraduate (NEET PG) Exam 2024 test city list has been released by the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS). The list of cities is available at the official website of NBEMS, natboard.edu.in.
Candidates can select their desired test city on the official website until July 22. The test city selection window opens on July 19.
The candidates can check the list of test cities here.
"The test city and test center communicated in the admit cards issued earlier for NEET-PG 2024, which was to be held on June 23, 2024, shall no longer be valid," reads the official notice.
The NEET PG 2024 examination will now take place on August 11, 2024, in two shifts, as per the revised schedule released by NBEMS in its notification of July 5, 2024.
The examination will be conducted in 185 test cities around the country due to increased security measures that have been put in place by NBEMS and the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW).
Candidates who want to take the NEET PG 2024 exam must choose four preferred test cities. These selections have to be chosen from the state's list of test cities that match the address on the NEET PG 2024 application form.
The exam cities will be assigned randomly from the four options provided by the candidate. The order in which the test cities are mentioned will not be considered during the allocation process.
Candidates who do not specify their preferred test cities during the online selection session will be given a test center by NBEMS at any location in the country.
Candidates will receive an email at their registered email addresses on July 29, informing them of their test city. The precise exam center within the assigned city will be specified in the admit card, which will be available for download on the NBEMS website on August 8.
The exam was earlier scheduled to be held on June 23. The Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare postponed the NEET-PG entrance examination on June 22 as a "precautionary measure" in the wake of allegations about the integrity of certain competitive exams.
