Karnataka's Education Minister said the initiative aims to boost students' confidence through AI-driven non-verbal communication training.
The Karnataka government is set to introduce Artificial Intelligence (AI) in schools to improve students' body language, particularly in north Karnataka, Education Minister Madhu Bangarappa announced.
The initiative aims to enhance students' non-verbal communication skills, helping them gain confidence and perform better in academic and professional settings.
Recognizing the importance of body language in communication, the government plans to implement AI-powered tools that provide personalized feedback on students' gestures, posture, eye contact, and expressions.
These tools will be integrated into the curriculum to ensure holistic development alongside academic learning.
The initiative is expected to be particularly beneficial for students from rural and underprivileged backgrounds, who may lack exposure to soft skills training.
By leveraging AI-driven assessments and interactive learning modules, students will receive real-time guidance on improving their presentation skills, making them prepared for interviews, public speaking, and social interactions.
The project is being developed in collaboration with education experts and technology firms specializing in AI-driven behavioral analysis.
The government is also exploring partnerships with institutions that focus on skill development to create structured training programs.
