The Karnataka School Examination and Assessment Board (KSEAB) on Thursday released the results for SSLC exams.
The pass percentage for girls is 81.11 per cent while that of boys is 65.90 per cent. Students who appeared for the SSLC exams can check their result on the official websites — kseab.karnataka.gov.in or karresults.nic.in
According to the data released by the Karnataka Board, over 8.9 lakh students appeared for the KSEAB SSLC exam 2024, which was conducted in two sessions at 2,800 exam centres from March 25 to April 6 in offline mode.
This year, the overall pass percentage stands at 73.4 per cent which is significantly lower than the previous year. Consequently, the government opted to augment normalization measures in the students' best interests.
In 2023, the overall pass percentage was recorded at 83.89 percent and girls outshined boys by securing 87.87 percent whereas boys pass percentage recorded at 80.08 percent. In 2022, the pass percentage was 85.13 per cent and in 2021, it was 99.99 per cent.
Students who are not satisfied with their result, can apply for verification by applying for a photocopy of their answer sheets. They can only apply for a photocopy of their answer sheet for which they had requested for the evaluation earlier.
