ISRO, in collaboration with IN-SPACe and academic institutions, will conduct a short-term course titled "Essentials of Space Technology in Agriculture" from July 27 to August 1, 2025, at Amity University, Noida.
Registration is open until July 11.
The course is designed for academicians, industry professionals, researchers, graduates, and postgraduates interested in learning how satellites, remote sensing, and space applications can enhance agricultural practices. Final-year students are not eligible to apply.
The course fee is ₹15,000, which includes food charges.
Accommodation is available on request within the Amity campus at ₹900 per day.
“All participants will need to take a mandatory quiz on the final day, and certificates will be awarded to those who pass,” the organizers said.
To register, applicants must first make the payment on bharatkosh.gov.in, download the payment receipt, then log in to inspace.gov.in and navigate to Opportunities > Explore the Opportunities and Apply > Register for Short-Term Course on Essentials of Space Technology in Agriculture.
The registration form must be filled out with the receipt uploaded before submission.
The program is ideal for those working on or researching satellite data, climate effects on crops, and agricultural innovation through space-based technologies.
