Students enrolled in the program will be required to complete a two-month summer internship, giving them hands-on experience in various business environments.
The Post Graduate Program in Management for Young Leaders (PGP YL) has been announced by the Indian School of Hyderabad (ISB) for prospective MBA students and is scheduled to start in the middle of 2025.
According to a press release, the innovative curriculum of the 20-month full-time MBA equivalent residential management program is intended to provide participants with a holistic learning experience, taking into account the fast-shifting business landscape and technological changes.
The press release added that the PGP YL curriculum will combine cutting-edge technology, data, analytics courses, and global perspectives with fundamental business principles to help students become creative problem solvers.
Students enrolled in the program will be required to complete a two-month summer internship, which will give them hands-on experience in a variety of business environments.
Prominent academics from ISB and other premier international B-schools will instruct students in PGP YL and bring their experience to the classroom.
Speaking about the program, ISB Dean Professor Madan Pillutla said that the PGP YL course was created in response to the need for young professionals who can fill positions requiring both deep technical and data skills and commercial acumen.
“We have designed the PGP YL program for fresh graduates and entry-level professionals to transform them into exceptional problem solvers and innovators at the workplace,” he said.
According to the ISB Hyderabad website, candidates interested in applying for the PGP YL course must have a bachelor's degree or equivalent in any discipline along with valid GMAT or GRE scores (test center-based only) or CAT scores, submitted by the application round's deadline.
No more than 0 to 24 months of work experience as of June 15 in the year they plan to enroll in the program, and a valid TOEFL or IELTS score is required, if English is not the candidate's medium of instruction.
The selection process consists of two stages, In Stage 1, candidates will be shortlisted based on their strong academic performance, notable awards and achievements, as well as their essay and test scores.
In Stage 2, those who are shortlisted will take part in personal interviews with a panel comprising senior industry leaders, ISB faculty, and alumni.
For the 2025–2027 academic year, the program fee is ₹21,65,000 + GST, while the accommodation cost is ₹3,95,000.
Scholarships will be given to 40–50% of the class according to need and merit-cum-need standards. Merit scholarships are available to worthy applicants, with the possibility of a 100% tuition remission.
