The one-month residential course starting June 16 offers hands-on learning, real-world projects, expert mentorship, and certification for students keen to build practical skills in automation and emerging technologies.
The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Mandi’s Centre for Continuing Education (CCE) has announced the launch of PRAYAS 3.0, a one-month residential training program focused on robotics, artificial intelligence (AI), and the Internet of Things (IoT).
The program is scheduled to begin on June 16, 2025, at the IIT Mandi campus.
PRAYAS 3.0 emphasizes hands-on, project-based learning to equip students with practical technology skills.
It offers immersive training through real-world projects, expert mentorship, and access to state-of-the-art labs and tools at IIT Mandi.
Participants will engage with embedded systems, Arduino programming, machine learning, computer vision, and IoT integration.
Key highlights of the program include project-based learning with real-time applications, mentorship from IIT Mandi faculty, exposure to technologies like Arduino, Python, CNNs, and YOLO, a capstone project evaluation, and a certificate from IIT Mandi.
The program is fully residential and includes hostel accommodation and meals.
Eligible applicants include undergraduate, graduate, and postgraduate students and diploma holders in engineering seeking hands-on experience in automation, AI, and IoT.
“PRAYAS 3.0 represents IIT Mandi’s continuing commitment to building future-ready professionals through experiential learning,” said Dr Tushar Jain, Head of the Centre for Continuing Education at IIT Mandi.
The one-month program begins on June 16, 2025, with a fee of ₹62,400, inclusive of accommodation and food. Interested candidates can apply at https://cce.iitmandi.ac.in.
