The course starts on April 1 and is open to working professionals in sectors like Manufacturing, IT, e-Commerce, Retail, FMCG, and Logistics, as well as students from engineering, commerce, science, or business management colleges. Registration closes on March 31.
The CII Institute of Logistics and the Indian Institute of Technology Madras' (IIT Madras) Centre for Outreach and Digital Education (CODE) will relaunch the "Supply Chain Management Professional" (SCMPro) certification program.
This program will have faculty from IIT Madras giving video lectures.
Students from any engineering, commerce, science, or business management college, as well as working professionals from manufacturing, IT, e-commerce, retail, FMCG, or logistics organizations, are eligible to participate in the course.
The class will start on April 1. For this batch, registration closes on March 31. To register, interested applicants should visit code.iitm.ac.in/supply-chain-management-professional-certification-scm-pro.
According to the press release, approximately 40,000 professionals have already received training through the SCM Pro certification program in the last 10 years.
Academic expertise will be incorporated into the curriculum of the CII Institute of Logistics.
The goal of the new curriculum is to give participants knowledge and understanding of supply chain management.
The course will contain downloadable transcripts, digital study resources, and modules with 30 hours of video content.
Candidates will receive a certificate jointly provided by CII and CODE, IIT Madras, as well as discussion forums and a remote proctored online exam every Sunday.
Participants must complete an online test with 200 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) in three hours (180 minutes) in order to receive the credential.
To pass, you must receive at least 70% of the possible points (140 out of 200). The course materials are available to participants for a year.
They will also be invited to visit the campus of IIT Madras.
