The collaboration is aimed at creating pathways for research and ideas emerging from IIT Jodhpur to move toward practical healthcare applications. The two organizations will work on initiatives addressing healthcare challenges through technology, research and data-driven approaches.

The partnership comes as artificial intelligence, connected technologies, medical devices and data-based decision-making play an increasing role in healthcare delivery.

IIT Jodhpur Technology Park will provide an industry-academia platform for developing and translating research into solutions with potential real-world applications.

Arindam Sen, Founder, Heartnet India, said, “Healthcare innovation becomes meaningful when research and technology can move beyond the laboratory and address problems that patients and healthcare professionals actually face.’

“Our collaboration with IIT Jodhpur Technology Park allows us to work closely with an academic and research ecosystem while bringing our understanding of healthcare delivery to the table. We look forward to exploring practical applications across AI, diagnostics, medical devices and MedTech that can create measurable value for healthcare,” Sen added.

The partnership follows IIT Jodhpur's continued engagement with healthcare and technology stakeholders. As part of its “Visionary Voices” leadership series, the School of Management and Entrepreneurship (SME), IIT Jodhpur, recently hosted Sen for a session with students.

The session examined the changing cardiac healthcare landscape, the role of technology in expanding access to care and the use of data-driven decision-making to identify gaps in healthcare delivery.

Through the MoU, IIT Jodhpur Technology Park and Heartnet India will explore further opportunities for joint research and innovation, with an emphasis on moving academic research and emerging technologies toward practical healthcare solutions.
