IIT JAM 2027 registration from Sept 5, IIT Kharagpur launches official website

IIT Kharagpur has launched the official website for IIT JAM 2027, with the registration process scheduled to begin on Sept 5. Candidates can access the portal at jam.iitkgp.ac.in.

IIT Kharagpur is the organizing institute for JAM 2027. The information brochure will be released on Aug 22, 2026, and candidates will be able to apply through the JAM Online Application Processing System (JOAPS).

The last date to submit the IIT JAM 2027 application form is Oct 12. Applicants will have to enter their details, upload the required documents and complete the fee payment process. PwD candidates will also need to upload the prescribed forms after completing the payment.

• JOAPS website opens: Sept 5, 2026
• IIT JAM 2027 registration deadline: Oct 12, 2026
• JOAPS data correction window: Nov 10, 2026, tentatively

The examination date for IIT JAM 2027 has not been announced yet. More information is expected with the release of the information brochure on Aug 22.

The examination is expected to be conducted in computer-based test mode and will include seven test papers: Biotechnology, Chemistry, Economics, Geology, Mathematical Statistics, Mathematics and Physics.

The upcoming brochure will provide detailed information about eligibility criteria, application fees, examination pattern, syllabus, admission process and participating institutes.
