The newly launched ePGD in Computer Science and Engineering by IIT Bombay is designed to enhance the technical skills of professionals and graduates, offering advanced courses in AI, ML, and programming.
To enhance the technical proficiency of professionals and graduates in the sector, the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay has announced the launch of its e-Postgraduate Diploma (ePGD) in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), an online program.
The course, which will begin in June 2025, is currently accepting enrollments.
The comprehensive curriculum of this ePGD includes six courses covering topics such as advanced programming, computing systems, machine learning, and artificial intelligence (AI).
The program will conclude with a graduation ceremony on campus, where candidates who successfully complete the course will be granted alumni status.
The ePGD in CSE is ideal for recent graduates, software developers, IT professionals, data scientists, machine learning practitioners, engineers, and individuals with significant on-the-job experience who wish to formally validate their knowledge with a postgraduate degree.
Candidates must have a BE, BTech, or BS (4 years) degree, or a higher degree in a related field of computer science.
Candidates with an equivalent degree from any engineering background may also be considered, subject to meeting additional requirements.
To apply for the IIT Bombay PG Diploma course 2025, interested candidates should visit the official website of the IIT Bombay CSE department.
Navigate to the ‘Academics’ section and select ‘Programmes.’ Then, click on the ‘ePGD’ option to open the dedicated program page.
After reviewing the provided details, click on ‘Apply Now.’
Follow the instructions on the application portal, fill in the candidate proforma, and submit the application.
Three other ePGD programs previously introduced by IIT Bombay have attracted significant attention from students across India.
By bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and real-world business applications, the newly launched ePGD in Computer Science and Engineering aims to help professionals maintain their competitive edge in a rapidly evolving technological landscape.
Visit www.cse.iitb.ac.in/admissions/pg/epgd for enrollment information and further details on the ePGD in CSE.
