The initiative comes at a time when India is seeing rapid growth in AI adoption, with 56% of adults in metropolitan areas using generative AI in 2025.

The YUVA AI for ALL program is designed to democratize AI knowledge and motivate 10 million citizens to develop essential AI skills.

It targets learners across age groups, regions, and socio-economic backgrounds, reinforcing India’s ambition to strengthen its digital economy and technology ecosystem.

The free course introduces participants to the fundamentals of artificial intelligence, its practical applications, and its relevance in everyday life.

The program will be made available on Simplilearn’s platform to reach students, professionals, and other interested learners across the country.

Commenting on the initiative, Krishna Kumar, Founder and CEO of Simplilearn, said, “AI literacy has become a fundamental requirement in today’s digital economy. It is important to professionals in IT as well as to citizens across all backgrounds. We need to engage with technologies that are becoming central to every discipline and globally integrated in every possible capacity.”

“As an upskilling platform, we recognize the urgent need for accessible and well-informed AI education at scale. Partnering with IndiaAI enables us to contribute to this national priority by making foundational AI learning widely available to millions,” Kumar added.

Learners completing the course will receive a co-branded certificate issued by IndiaAI under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology and Simplilearn.

The program combines Simplilearn’s digital delivery capabilities with the government’s AI and technology resources to create a standardized framework for foundational AI learning.
