The registration process for Telangana Teacher Eligibility Test (TS-TET-2024) application has begun and last date to apply for the same is April 10.

The TSTET is scheduled to be held from May 20 to June 3, in two sessions where session 1 will be conducted from 9 am to 11.30 am and session 2 will be held from 2 pm to 4.30 pm — across 11 districts of state in CBT (Computer based test) mode.
“Online applications are invited from eligible candidates who intend to be teachers for classes 1 to 8 in schools in Telangana State for appearing for the Telangana Teacher Eligibility Test (TS-TET-2024),” the official notice read.
The exam qualifies candidates to teach grades 1 to grade 8 in government, Mandal Parishad, Zilla Parishad, and both private aided and unaided schools across Telangana.
Candidates who have completed or are in their final year of a teaching diploma program (DElEd, DEd, or BEd) or hold equivalent qualifications like language pandit certifications are eligible. Candidates can also retake TSTET to improve their scores.
The registration fee for a Paper 1 is Rs 1,000, which is for candidates aspiring to teach Classes 1 to 5.
Meanwhile, candidates appearing for Paper 1 and Paper 2 need to deposit Rs 2,000. Paper 2 are for candidates aspiring to teach Classes 6 to 8.
The admit cards will be available for download from May 15. The result will be declared on June 12.
