Candidates who cleared the UPSC ESE 2025 mains must update educational qualifications, personal details, and preferences on the official portal within fifteen days to be eligible for the personality test.
The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) released the Engineering Services Examination (ESE) 2025 mains results, allowing candidates to check their scores on the official website, upsc.gov.in.
Candidates who have qualified for the Personality Test or interview are required to update their educational qualifications and other details within 15 days.
UPSC has instructed candidates to submit proof of passing the requisite qualifying examination through the One Time Registration Module at upsconline.gov.in.
Failure to complete this step will render candidates ineligible for the interview, and their candidature may be canceled.
Those eligible for the personality test will also have the opportunity to update their correspondence and postal addresses, higher qualifications, achievements, employment history, service experience, service allocation, and service preferences through the detailed application form (DAF).
The UPSC ESE 2025 Mains exam took place on August 10, following the preliminary examination on June 8, whose results were declared on June 20.
Candidates who have cleared the mains in civil, mechanical, electrical, and electronics & telecommunication engineering will now move on to the interview stage. Dates for the ESE personality test will be announced soon.

The marks and cut-off for the ESE Preliminary Examination 2025 will be published on the UPSC website after the completion of the full recruitment process.
The ESE selection involves three stages: preliminary, mains, and the personality test.
UPSC has also set up a facilitation counter at its campus to assist candidates with any queries regarding the examination or results.

Recruitment to the Indian Railway Management Service (IRMS) for Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Signal and Telecommunication, and Stores sub-cadres will also be conducted through the ESE examination.
