Harmonization of Digital Footprint, the Indian government published the Digital Brand Identity Manual (DBIM) and organized the First CIO Conference 2025.

• Providing all government services online is called seamless integration

• Optimizing performance makes websites faster, more usable, and more secure.

• Follows STQC Certification for quality assurance and Guidelines for Indian Government Websites and Apps (GIGW).

What is called DBIM?

Government websites, portals, social media can all adopt the DBIM as a framework to standardise their digital identity. This ensures a consistent, accessible and citizen-centric digital experience across departments and ministries. Managed by Ministry of Information Technology and Electronics (MeitY)

Functions:

DBIM Toolkit provides guidelines for digital branding, typography and iconography. CMS Platform centralized management of government websites for uniformity. Central Content Publishing System (CCPS) ensures policies and messaging are distributed consistently. Social Media Policies Ensures government communications are consistent across online channels. Combines cybersecurity protections with AI-powered tools for a future-ready ecosystem.
