Important Projects Initiated AIKosha: IndiaAI Datasets Platform is a safe sanctuary of datasets, AI models, and use cases with AI sandbox features.

The India AI Compute Portal provides subsidized AI compute, storage, and network services along with access to over 10,000 GPUs.

A GPU is a circuit that performs mathematical computations to process images and movies. AI Competency Framework: Offers AI skills and competency mapping to public sector representatives.

iGOT-AI is AI-powered personalized training for government personnel using the iGOT Karmayogi platform. The IndiaAI Startups Global Acceleration Program, IndiaAI Innovation Challenge, and India AI Future Skills Fellowship are other programs.

In relation to IndiaLaunched in March 2024, the AI Mission has a budget of ₹10,371.92 crore.

Objective: Encourage AI innovation through public-private collaborations and state-of-the-art AI infrastructure.

It will be achieved by providing risk funding for startups, democratizing access to computing, ensuring AI initiatives have a societal benefit, encouraging ethical AI, and more.

Key Language Technologies and AI Models in India

The first was the multimodal LLM BharatGen, which was supported by the government.

India Digital BHASHINI is an AI-powered language translation platform.

The Sarvam-1 AI Model was developed for applications such as language translation, text summarization, and content production.

Chitralekha allows users to make and edit audio transcripts in a number of Indic languages.

A multilingual artificial intelligence system called Hanooman's Everest 1.0 is capable of speaking 35 Indian languages.
