NTA Extends NEET UG Correction Window: Final Chance for Applicants to Edit Forms Until April 15 Amidst May 5 Exam Date Confirmation
NTA Extends NEET UG Correction Window
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the reopening of the correction window for NEET UG registered candidates, offering them a final opportunity to modify their application forms until April 15. This decision comes after the Agency received numerous requests from NEET UG applicants to extend the correction window. The examination is scheduled for May 5.
NEET UG applicants can make changes to all fields, including uploaded documents, until April 12 at 11:50 pm. However, modifications to the contact mobile number and email used during NEET UG registration are not allowed. From April 12 to April 15, only Aadhaar-related authentication corrections are permitted.
To make corrections, candidates should visit the official website neet.nta.nic.in and follow the steps outlined on the NEET UG homepage. After making the necessary corrections, applicants must save and submit the updated application form.
It is crucial to note that after April 15, no further requests to modify the NEET UG application form will be entertained by the Agency. Candidates are advised to exercise caution during the correction process, as no additional opportunities will be provided.
Final corrections to NEET UG applications will only be valid after payment of any additional fees, if required. Candidates will be charged any excess fee resulting from changes in Gender, Category, or PwD status, and excess payments will not be refunded.
Additionally, the NTA has clarified that the exam date for NEET UG 2024 will not be altered despite the ongoing Lok Sabha elections. Addressing rumors circulating on social media, the NTA emphasized that individuals who vote in the elections will not be prohibited from entering examination halls. The Agency urged candidates to exercise their voting rights without concern for affecting their eligibility for examinations.
