During the transitional month of February, temperatures do rise. Since mid-last week, what atmospheric conditions have been present? When can residents of Mumbai anticipate relief?

The IMD has predicted daily highs of 36 to 37 degrees Celsius through the end of this week, so it is unlikely that anything will change in the near future.

What is reason behind the rise in Mumbai's temperatures?

Western disturbances in February, due to lack of rain has also been observed by the IMD. Mumbai have lower temperatures as a result of these weather patterns, which bring cooler northerly winds.
